Brian Button is the Technical Director for Software, responsible for the Connected Buildings and Environmental Monitoring product lines for Copeland. It is his great pleasure to teach Agile, Lean, and Kanban concepts to his teams around the world while delivering well-engineered IoT and cloud solutions critical to the safety of food and medicine supplies globally.
Brian began his career 30 years ago as a hardcore C/C++ dev on SunOS, building and delivering solutions in many languages and operating systems. He has worked in embedded systems, navigation software, mission control applications for NASA, and other interesting areas during his career. Eventually moving into Agile consulting and coaching, Brian traveled the Western world helping organizations learn better ways of developing software. He was instrumental in introducing Agile and Extreme Programming to St. Louis and has been an active leader in the Agile and Extreme Programming conferences and community in the US since the early 2000s.
Song Bac Toh has been in the technology business for over 20 years, starting as a software engineer and later transitioning to product and business management. He also had project and program management responsibility for a good part of this journey. Song’s first exposure to Agile was from working at a company where Agile culture and DevOps processes reigned. That experience still shapes his view of Agile – he believes Agile is about delivering results rather than using catchphrases in corporate literature.
As an experienced business executive, who has run Agile software development, and been involved in a number of Agile business transformations, Song believes in the power of Agile transformation, and in bringing Agile to a diverse, global community.
I don’t think I have ever minded change. Over the course of my career, I have shifted from working face-to-face with customers (Business Operations) to articulating what customers need (Business Analysis and Process Engineering), to working with teams delivering the solution (Product Development and Product Ownership), to evolving ways to deliver the solution (Agile software development at a team level), to improving collaboration of many teams working together (Business and Enterprise Agility).

Kemmy has been active in the IT industry for over 15 years in a variety of roles within the software development lifecycle. She has been a Scrum Master, an Agile Coach, a mentor, and an Agile trainer. She helps organize local Agile conferences and Meetups in Canada, and she has been an Agile20XX track reviewer for the past two years.
Margareth Carneiro has three decades of management experience. She is passionate about contributing to the adoption of practices, oriented toward deliveries, benefits, and results thru her work, lectures, classes, and mentoring. Her entire career has been in people management for the delivery of products, services, and value. Her experience with Agile methods and approaches started in 2016. Margareth’s focus on Agile is mostly on scaling, change management, and people behavior. She is PMP, Prince 2, MSP, SAFe SPC, PMI DASSM, and PMI DAC certified.
Margareth served PMI as a volunteer for 22 years, as a Chapter President and in other international positions, and then on the PMI Board of Directors for six years during two terms. She holds a Masters in Knowledge Management and IT and a Ph.D. in Administration, with studies in Corporate Governance and Management by Results.
Bob Hartman, also known as “Agile Bob”, has more than 30 years of experience in developing software, and has served in almost every role in the software industry, including developer, tester, documentation writer, trainer, product manager, project manager, business analyst, senior software engineer, development manager, and executive. Over the past 10 years, he has also grown from being an early adopter of Agile to becoming a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), and has done significant training, coaching, and mentoring in all areas of Agile development.
Sandy Mamoli, originally a professional handball player representing Austria in the 1992 Olympics, transitioned into a technical role at Sony Ericsson after earning a master’s degree in Natural Language Processing. In 2007, she co-founded Nomad8 in New Zealand, establishing herself as an Agile Coach for companies like Trade Me, Snapper, and Southern Cross Health. A keynote speaker at prominent Agile conferences globally, she also co-authored Creating Great Teams in 2015, emphasizing high-performing Agile teams and self-selection.
David currently leads a global Agile Product and Design practice for a boutique consultancy. He collaborates with clients of all sizes to help them solve anti-patterns, offers guidance through planning and strategy workshops, and servant-lead custom client Agile and product transformations. In addition to digital change, David’s consultancy is an SAP expertise shop working with Agile SAP clients who would prefer to leverage design and Agile principles in conjunction with SAP methods. The company is large enough to deliver but small enough to care. David also helps folks find jobs, matching talented people with clients looking for specific skills or industry experience.
David lives in Atlanta, GA, where he has made his home for 20+ years. His family supports high school and college sports, often spending Friday nights and Saturdays supporting their favorites. He is a husband to an EY executive and father to two outstanding female student-athletes.
Teresa Foster is a certified association executive with more than 20 years of executive-level experience in association management, including time spent at national, regional, and local organizations. While most of her experience is in executive leadership, her skill set includes internal and external communications, corporate sponsorship, and financial management. She also has extensive experience in human resources, contract negotiations, and program development.
Teresa’s passion is helping companies reach their potential. She is a visionary who loves solving problems, and she believes that success lies in the mix of an organized structure, along with consistency and a team atmosphere.
